Gantry crane

The gantry crane, as the bridge crane, is a machinery used for lifting and handling materials, with limited movements and in a specific workplace.

These cranes are installed outdoors, they have the same function of the bridge crane namely are composed to one or more hoists with the different that these cranes are installed on the steel rails on the ground.

The gantry cranes can be with one or two beams, they differ for the lifting capacity and for the length or height of the beam.
